The hosts: Tom Holland is a bestselling author who works on medieval and classical history and the origins of Islam. In addition, he has created and hosted historical television documentaries for BBC. Dominic is also a seasoned former lecturer of history at the University of Sheffield, a columnist, author and TV presenter. He has also been a visiting professor at King's College in London and a senior fellow of the Rothermere American Institute at Oxford.
