Fighting Talk is a topical sports podcast where guests compete for points with their sporting punditry. The guests are invited to elaborate their views and opinions on a series of topical sporting events using wit and knowledge.

Witty and knowledgeable answers are rewarded, while baseless outbursts are penalised. However, there is a section where the guests can express anything regardless of its connection to the sport.

Listeners are also invited to participate and answer one of the questions asked by email or text message.

Fighting Talk is broadcasted during the English football season by BBC Radio 5 live. The show has won Gold Sony Radio Academy Awards twice in the sports program.
